Centerville Curling Club 2024 Stick Spiel
January 27th, 2024
Centerville Curling Club’s Stick Spiel is a 2-person team, 6 end bonspiel, open to men, women, or mixed teams. Four events, 16 team limit. Entry fee $80 per team / 3 game guarantee.
Rules of the competition:
- All curlers must deliver stones with a stick.
- No sweeping between the hog lines.
- No consulting on the rink. Curlers stay at their end of the rink.
- Each end consists of one curler throwing 6 stones against an opponent; teammate skips at other end of rink.
- Free zone ends after the 3rd stone is delivered.
- Extra end has all four curlers throwing 3 stones each in the order they choose without sweeping or sweeping.
- No one person teams. Third member allowed for $20.
- One player who starts a game may be subbed during the game.
- All other curling rules apply.
Entry fee includes: Light breakfast, lunch, snacks, beverages and awards.
